Purpose - To expose young golfers to the basic and advanced techniques of competitive golf as taught on the collegiate and professional levels.
2009 Dates - We are offering a one-week session to be held on Monday, June 1 through Thursday, June 4.
Facilities - We will use three different facilities through the week of camp - the Georgia Tech team practice range, East Lake Golf Club, and the Charlie Yates Golf Course.
Who is Eligible - The Yellow Jacket Golf Camp is open to boys between the ages of 9 and 18. Under new NCAA rules, senior graduates may attend.
Tuition - The cost of attending the Yellow Jacket Golf Camp as an OVERNIGHT CAMPER for the one-week session is $995 per camper. The tuition includes all instruction, room, meals, gift pack, green fees, and practice balls. The cost to attend as a DAY CAMPER is $750.
Check-In and Check-out (All Campers) - Check-in will be June 1st from 1:00pm-2pm at Glenn Dorm on the campus of Georgia Tech. Check-out will be June 4th at 2:00pm at Glenn Dorm.
Arrival and Departure (Day Campers only) - Drop off on June 2-4 will be between 8-8:30am at Glenn Dorm on the campus of Georgia Tech. Pick-up on June 1-3 will be at 7:30pm from Glenn Dorm.
Health and Safety - Full-time counselors and coaches will be available to help insure the safety of each camper during the session.
Clothing and Equipment - You will be required to bring the following; golf attire, clubs, golf hat, sunscreen. Overnight campers will also need to bring toiletries, sheets, pillows, blanket, towels, and snacks.
Housing and Food - All overnight campers, counselor, and coaches will be housed in fully air- conditioned dorms on the campus of Georgia Tech. All meals while at camp are included in the cost of camp for overnight campers. Day campers will be provided lunch only each day.
